What is a Website

Metaphorically, a website is an electronic container. it is an electronic book, blog, or place to review a person’s or store’s information that is accessible on the world wide web. Facebook is a website. It is a collection of information assembled for access by the public using the internet. The information is shown on pages organized logically by subject within a framework. A website framework is a header, and footer, with menus or links for navigating the website’s pages. Headers and footers are not required but are usually included to help brand and navigate most websites. 

Note: Some countries require that a legal notice showing the owner and contact information for the website. This legal notice is many times included in the footer. It may also be found in the contact page for the site
